A Little About Me
Hi, my name is Linda and I am originally from South Africa. I immigrated with my 7-year-old daughter to this lovely country New Zealand. I feel grateful to be living in such a beautiful country.
A cup of coffee gets me going in the morning and I have discovered Whittaker’s Hazelnut Chocolate. I enjoy painting, reading, camping and tramping but most of all spending time with my special people.

Linda Strauss - Psychologist
I am a qualified Psychologist with extensive counselling and organisational experience.
I know that taking the first step and coming for counselling takes courage. I strive to create a professional and safe environment where there is no judgement and you can feel comfortable to discuss various topics. The highlight of my work is when I see someone change or become ‘unstuck’. Sometimes change can be transformational or it might just be about listening to you and having empathy. We can also discuss various coping strategies or life skills. I strongly believe we have the answers within ourselves and that we sometimes just need some guidance. “Life is not how many times you fall down, it’s about how many times you get back up”. – Jaime Escalante – |
